MCMC and .my DOMAIN REGISTRY IDN Market Survey

This is a survey on the introduction of Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) and its impact on Internet users in Malaysia.

The primary objective of this IDN market survey is to study the readiness of the Malaysian local internet community in accepting IDN in general with Jawi, Chinese and Tamil domain names in particular.

IDN, also known as multilingual domain name, contains Unicode characters which will enable you as a customer of .my DOMAIN REGISTRY to register a domain name in scripts other than ASCII/Latin (A to Z). Non-Latin scripts such as Jawi, Chinese and Tamil can be registered as a domain name under .my DOMAIN REGISTRY's testbed at http://idn.domainregistry.my until 31st July 2010.
