.my Training Workshop is BACK again !!!

Due to the positive feedback received by .my Training Workshop for the last three consecutive years, .my DOMAIN REGISTRY would like to repeat the initiative this year in order to continue pursuing its commitment to provide Domain Name System (DNS) related technologies training to Malaysians.

.my DOMAIN REGISTRY will be organizing a 4-day workshop entitled "Revelation and Adoption of DNS Technologies". The main objective of this training workshop is to provide participants with latest information, configuration, testing and troubleshooting practical experiences through our lab exercises relating to:

• Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) and its integration with DNS
• DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) and its prevention techniques for DNS cache poisoning and pharming activities
• Telephone Number Mapping (ENUM) for convergence of Internet and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) using DNS

DNS hosting providers, relevant government agencies, Telecommunication Service Provider (TSP), Internet Service Providers (ISP), professionals and enthusiastic individuals are encouraged to join this training. All participants should be familiar with common DNS terminology, have basic practical knowledge of operating DNS servers and familiar with UNIX operating system commands.
